           Allies Mitt , Catcher In The Rye.     Allies mitt was a very important symbol in Catcher In The Rye, the mitt had poems written all over it. Allie was Holdens little brother, he got leukemia and died in Maine. Allies mitt symbolizes the honor that Holden yearns for , Allies white was preserved in the mitt.
